Program Computer

People with disabilities can receive a FREE Microsoft Windows 98 Computer (includes monitor, keyboard and mouse) with proof of disability.  They can either download the Program Computer Application, or stop by the store during open hours.  Deliver or send the completed application with a copy of your proof of disability.  They also can send the application to our address. 

We will be asking for a nominal non-refundable donation in accordance with the income you have listed on the application.  The amount has been calculated by the US income poverty guidelines to insure this donation does not infringe on your lifestyle or well-being.  All donations help fund the computer program and have become vital for the continuation of the program.

There is a waiting list of under one month.  You will be notified by telephone when you computer is ready.  Applicants must be Washoe County residents.

DISABILITY DISCOUNT

People with proof of disability also have the option to receive a 30% discount on a Microsoft XP computer system purchased in the store (excluding laptops).

*Accepted proof of disability includes an article of  proof of disability from a Local, State and Federal agency.
